About Us

As an aerospace engineering student at Tu Delft, I love to come up with solutions. When my bike got stolen I faced the problem of needing a mode of transport while not having sufficient money. Short-term mobility options like shared scooters, public transportation, or rentals were unfortunately expensive and limiting in freedom of movement. During my minor in sustainability, I learned about the circular economy which is a model of production and consumption. This model involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing, and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible. In this way, we can extend the life cycle of products and reduce climate pollution. This important concept combined with my personal struggle created the idea of FieldFiets. With our carefully selected second-hand bikes we make a difference by providing the lowest-cost mobility solution to you while contributing to a circular economy.
